From the beginning, Sablyn was never about statement dressing. It was about removing friction. Day to night becomes instinctive. “During the day, you throw it on with a sneaker. At night, you put on a heel. If you’re cold, you add a cashmere sweater.”
THE BEGINNING
Sablyn was founded in 2017 in Los Angeles by Sable Banoun. Born and raised in LA, Sable built the brand around a single idea: “When a woman is comfortable, she feels confident.” What began as a feeling became a system of dressing, of layering, of ease.

Sablyn is designed as a wardrobe, not individual pieces. Everything connects. Everything returns to itself. “Everything is monochromatic, so it’s super easy when you’re getting dressed.” A single piece stands on its own - but together, they create something more.
“You can buy one piece, but usually you build an outfit - two, three pieces that all work together.”
THE MATERIALS
At the core of Sablyn is material. Not just how it looks - but how it feels, how it wears, how it returns. “At Sablyn, we use the highest quality fabrics - 100% cashmere, 100% silk.” The design process always begins with cashmere. “Everything starts with the cashmere. We dye the color we love, and then everything else - silk, cotton, denim - builds from there.”
